Even with a call to invokeLater()?  It'd seem that invokeLater() just kicks off a Thread and
returns...so even if you kick off a bunch of Threads, they might be started in order, but
will they finish in order?  Threading issues are hard to debug, so it could just be me.  I've
introduced an artificial delay (Thread.sleep()) that seems to fix issues with events resolving
out-of-order, but that doesn't mean the RunnableQueue is the issue.

Yes. Entries are executed serially and not overlapping.
