Seems reasonable if they're keeping their code up to date with all of the releases.  The code
appears lightweight to make to use it as well.  I've also tried to reach out to [~dvryaboy]
via twitter to see if he has any feedback about the approach of having elephant bird as a
dependency, e.g. any hidden costs or pitfalls being more familiar with the project.
