Is it possible to bind CloudStack host object provided by CloudStack API with VMWare host
object provided by VMWare API (or MOB)?
Does CloudStack store somewhere "external" UUIDs?

I see that UUIDs are different, only host names are same. But host name is not unique

CloudStack API:

name string ""
uuid string "564d2545-2480-c18b-fced-87cd460dc16b"

Thanks, Igor
