Subject [jira] Commented: (LANG-425) Sequence(String)Utils
Date Sat, 04 Jul 2009 12:45:47 GMT

Robert Scholte commented on LANG-425:

After rereading all comments I see I made a terrible mistake. Some of the methods were based
on primitives. For them it's absolutely useless to have these methods, but for their Object
equivalent it is (or was pre java5).

The suggested hexImpl was just an example, you could also think of a sequence of strings without

CharSequence is a bit misleading, because there's also a java.lang.CharSequence which has
another goal.
The UnicodeSequence look a bit odd to me: why a builderstrategy here?

just the ordinairy SequenceUtils?

a method (such as StrBuilder). SequenceUtils can only be static, if it has the startValue.
