ASF GitHub Bot commented on FLINK-3993:

Github user zentol commented on the pull request:

Changing the test infrastructure should be done as a separate issue. There are a few things
that could be improved, especially a bit of documentation (like what is the difference between
Verify and Verify2).
Your changes look good, I'll merge them later today.

> [py] Add generateSequence() support to Python API
> -------------------------------------------------
> Key: FLINK-3993
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-3993
> Project: Flink
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: Python API
> Affects Versions: 1.0.3
> Reporter: Omar Alvarez
> Priority: Minor
> Original Estimate: 24h
> Remaining Estimate: 24h
> Right now, I believe that there is only from_elements() support in order to create a
sequence of numbers. It is interesting to be able to create a list of numbers from the Python
API also, apart from the Java API. It would not be complicated, since we already have generateSequence().
I am already working on this, and will create a pull request shortly in Github.
