Lewis John McGibbney commented on GORA-341:

Hi [~alfonso.nishikawa], thanks for the references. As always, I would take this (what appears
to be a conference paper as it doesn't mention a specific journal inheader or footer) with
a pinch of salt.
If you personally, wish to change the otd to odm then feel free.
The initial motivation for otd was to merely migrate away from the orm parent element for
the mapping files.

> Switch mapping file root element to use OTD instead of ORM
> ----------------------------------------------------------
> Key: GORA-341
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GORA-341
> Project: Apache Gora
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: gora-tutorial
> Reporter: Michael Joyce
> Assignee: Michael Joyce
> Fix For: 0.5
> The tutorial documentation mentions Gora as an Object-to-Datastore mapper.
> "Unlike other OTD (Object-to-Datastore) mapping implementations, in Gora ..."
> However, the mapping files provided for the tutorial use a "gora-orm" root tag. For consistency,
it would be great to have these line up.
