Subject [jira] [Commented] (GORA-379) Implement Chef recipies for GoraCI
Date Sun, 12 Oct 2014 20:09:34 GMT

Apostolos Giannakidis commented on GORA-379:

[~lewismc], my intention was to work on this after the incorporation of the Gora-Oracle to
the codebase. If this task is of high priority then maybe it would be better to be reassigned
to someone else.

> Implement Chef recipies for GoraCI
> ----------------------------------
> Key: GORA-379
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GORA-379
> Project: Apache Gora
> Issue Type: Task
> Components: gora-goraci
> Reporter: Lewis John McGibbney
> Assignee: Apostolos Giannakidis
> Fix For: 0.6
> Now that GORA-374 is committed, we need to implement the Chef recipies for getting GoraCI
up and running.
> I've found all but Accumulo recipies meaning that we 'should' be able to implement all
modules. The Accumulo module will require someone to step up and write a recipie for it.
> Existing recipies are as follows
> * https://supermarket.getchef.com/cookbooks/hadoop - For AvroStore and HBaseStore
> * https://supermarket.getchef.com/cookbooks/cassandra - For CassandraStore
> * https://supermarket.getchef.com/cookbooks/solr - for SolrStore
> * https://supermarket.getchef.com/cookbooks/mongodb - for MongoDBStore
> As I said, the only datastore which I think we need to write a Chef recipie for is Accumulo...
which should be really fun.
