"patch" command not found on Hudson slave machines

                 Key: HADOOP-7152
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-7152
             Project: Hadoop Common
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Ranjit Mathew

As seen in HDFS-1418, at least one of the Hudson slave machines does not have the "patch"
command installed. The error is:

  [exec] /grid/0/hudson/hudson-slave/workspace/PreCommit-HDFS-Build/trunk/src/test/bin/test-patch.sh:
line 275: /usr/bin/patch: No such file or directory

>From https://hudson.apache.org/hudson/job/PreCommit-HDFS-Build/207//console
