Actually I was using webmin and it missed the listen directive entry, I
am new to Apache so had no clue about the Listen directive. thanks a lot
for your help, worked great :)

Yah.  Well, where did you get the idea for that configuration.  Have you
read the docs on virtual hosts and "binding"?
