Subject RE: Question regarding JNDI and WebSphere

I assume you've created an appropriate JDBC datasource in the container?
 You might try putting the whole JNDI resource URL into the config
<property name="DataSource" value="java:comp/env/abcd/efgh"/>
I would also make sure and put a resource-ref in your web.xml or
whereever so that when deploying the EAR, WAS will prompt you to map the
abcd/efgh reference to a concrete JDBC datasource defined in the
Hope this helps,

Subject: Question regarding JNDI and WebSphere

I am seeing the following in the console when trying to load a sql-map:

[6/15/05 15:37:11:813 EDT] 6eb06eb0 ConnectionFac I J2CA0122I: Resource
reference abcd/efgh could not be located, so default values of the
following are used: [Resource-ref settings]

        res-auth:                 1 (APPLICATION)
        res-isolation-level:      0 (TRANSACTION_NONE)
        res-sharing-scope:        true (SHAREABLE)
        res-resolution-control:   999 (undefined)
[Other attributes]

isCMP1_x:                 false (not CMP1.x)
isJMS:                 false (not JMS)

My SQL map looks like this:
- <file://c:/data/m002857/40/#>  <sqlMapConfig>
  <settings maxSessions="64" maxTransactions="8" maxRequests="128" />
- <file://c:/data/m002857/40/#>  <transactionManager type="JDBC">
- <file://c:/data/m002857/40/#>  <dataSource type="JNDI">
  <property name="DataSource" value="abcd/efgh" />
  <sqlMap resource="Test.xml" />

My question is what change should be made to the server configuration in
order to suppress the warnings shown above in the console?
