Subject [jira] [Commented] (OAK-7693) [DirectBinaryAccess] Documentation
Date Fri, 10 Aug 2018 22:00:00 GMT

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-7693?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16576908#comment-16576908

Alexander Klimetschek commented on OAK-7693:

[~amitjain] Common properties: yes, that would be good. But maybe [~mattvryan] had a good
reason for them to be different. However, let's look at this later. We also have OAK-7702
to tackle where we might add/change config properties.

[~mreutegg] Here is the final doc change in case you want to commit it with OAK-7569: https://github.com/alexkli/jackrabbit-oak/commit/d633b51c34bcc77865533cd769b52f9682f69895
(including binary files)
Otherwise let me know when things are in trunk and I'll commit it. When should we publish
to the documentation site? As soon as the feature is in trunk or only when it's in an official
oak release? (The doc says it's since 1.10, so it should be clear)

> Add official Oak documentation for the direct binary access feature.
> There's a [wiki page|https://wiki.apache.org/jackrabbit/Direct%20Binary%20Access] that
already describes the feature, but official documentation should be created in the oak-doc
