Subject Moderation of turbine-jcs-dev and turbine-jcs-user
Date Fri, 13 Aug 2004 07:37:47 GMT
Hi Folks,

do you know that you have no moderator from the active development team
on your mailing lists?

As Quinton McCombs is doing different things these days, I asked the
infrastructure guys to add me as a moderator because I do the same thing
for turbine-dev and turbine-user and read my mail quite regularly. Of
course it would be best if anyone who is actively working on JCS does
this job. I will not do much more but filter spam out and send
everything through that looks remotely related to JCS.

"Fighting for one's political stand is an honorable action, but re-
fusing to acknowledge that there might be weaknesses in one's
position - in order to identify them so that they can be remedied -
is a large enough problem with the Open Source movement that it
deserves to be on this list of the top five problems."
