Jean-Philippe CLEMENT commented on KARAF-2920:
----------------------------------------------

Tried today the latest 3.0.2 snapshot (20140722) and Karaf still freezes.
Before the freezing there are a lot of sysout displaying things like:
ERROR: Bundle org.apache.karaf.features.command [35] Error starting mvn:org.apache.karaf.features/org.apache.karaf.features.command/3.0.2-SNAPSHOT
(org.osgi.framework.BundleException: Unresolved constraint in bundle org.apache.karaf.features.command
[35]: Unable to resolve 35.0: missing requirement [35.0] osgi.wiring.package; (&(osgi.wiring.package=org.apache.karaf.shell.commands)(version>=3.0.0)(!(version>=4.0.0)))
[caused by: Unable to resolve 36.0: missing requirement [36.0] osgi.wiring.package; (&(osgi.wiring.package=org.apache.felix.gogo.api)(version>=0.12.0)(!(version>=1.0.0)))])

> Karaf freezes during startup. The installation is a clean untar. There is no way to get
Karaf running!
> Logs shows that Karaf tries to get something from Maven and fails. Then some services
are missing and so Karaf freezes.
> The RHEL on which Karaf is starting has access to a local Maven repository but none of
RHEL nor Maven have access to internet.
> I already gave the log on the Karaf mailing list - I can provide it if needed.
