Niclas Hedhman commented on POLYGENE-49:

My comment on Remote Envisage is about be able to serialize the model into JSON. That can
then be used to build additional tooling on top of.

> Getting help on assembly issues isn't easy. Currently, one has to provide the application
assembly code that can span several files. Not really convenient.
> The [Envisage Tool|https://zest.apache.org/java/latest/tools-envisage.html] allow to
browse an application assembly at runtime and to export the assembly as PDFs. This is excellent
but having something that export assembly info as a copy/paste-able text format would greatly
ease the process.
> Moreover, Envisage require a graphical context and user interaction. The Qi4j SDK should
provide a shorter path to get a full report of application assembly.
> On the road to 2.0 we already extracted non UI code from Envisage into the tools/model-detail
module. This module should be improved to provide, at least, a simple service that output
the whole Application Model on application start in a copy/paste-able text format either to
stdout or to a file.
