Subject [jira] [Created] (APA-49) Classcast Exception HttpPut in ReverseProxyServlet
Date Thu, 07 Jun 2012 15:44:22 GMT
Thijs Borst created APA-49:
------------------------------

Summary: Classcast Exception HttpPut in ReverseProxyServlet
                 Key: APA-49
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/APA-49
             Project: Portals Apps
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: apa-webcontent
    Affects Versions: apa-webcontent-1.2
Environment: Maven Jetty project with a ReverseProxyServlet
            Reporter: Thijs Borst
            Assignee: David Sean Taylor
            Priority: Critical
             Fix For: apa-webcontent-1.3

Currently developing against a REST service with a reverse proxy layer running on a local
jetty server within maven (mvn jetty:run).

The project is currently depending on this ReverseProxyServlet. We need this fixed badly!

When performing a PUT to the REST server the following error occurs:

java.lang.ClassCastException: org.apache.http.client.methods.HttpPut cannot be cast to org.apache.http.client.methods.HttpPost
