Subject [jira] [Commented] (RANGER-409) Website points to non-existent twitter handle
Date Mon, 03 Aug 2015 20:41:06 GMT

Balaji Ganesan commented on RANGER-409:

[~jghoman] Sorry for the delay, I will start looking into this. The Apache Ranger twitter
handle is already taken (https://twitter.com/ApacheRanger)

What is recommendation from the Apache Community on this? Do we keep a generic twitter handle
or try something like ApacheRangerASF or something like that?

> Website points to non-existent twitter handle
> ---------------------------------------------
> Key: RANGER-409
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RANGER-409
> Project: Ranger
> Issue Type: Bug
> Reporter: Jakob Homan
> Assignee: Balaji Ganesan
> Priority: Minor
> The website asks users to follow @Ranger4Hadoop, which doesn't exist. Also, ASF twitter
handles are usually Apache\{Project\}. Can that be used here as well?
