I just realized one potential issue with the routes -- should they be available just on the
history server & the master web ui, or also from the application UIs?  If they are available
from the application UI, should they have the same path -- with the "application/<app-id>"
in there?

My feeling is that they should be available from the application UI, and they should have
the same paths, even though there is only one valid <app-id>, just to keep things consistent.
 But I could be persuaded ...
