It is clearer. There are examples of lambdas elsewhere in the docs. I don't care too much
about this one therefore. Given how Java 8 will soon be required, and has long been supported,
I suppose I wouldn't mind going ahead and moving *all* examples in docs to only use lambdas,
for consistency, as a preliminary step. That is, I prefer to do these things all at once rather
than piecemeal.
