Subject [jira] [Commented] (SPARK-31337) Support MS Sql Kerberos login in JDBC connector
Date Mon, 25 May 2020 08:54:00 GMT

Gabor Somogyi commented on SPARK-31337:

[~GeetBhalshankar] security is super sensitive area and without having any logs and knowing
the exact setup hard to say anything for sure though I can share where I've struggled the
most. The exception means that somehow the credentials are not valid. There could be several
reasons but considering the fact you've shared (connecting when I ran spark job in local mode)
I think the problem may be the following. Assuming you're using keytab for authentication
maybe the keytab file is not available on each node of the cluster. Either --files or scp
can be used on every node. If this doesn't help one can turn on kerberos debugging in the
following way:
It's a bit cryptic at the first try but one can get used to that. Have fun...
