Subject DBTags and RowSets
Date Fri, 10 Aug 2001 21:00:23 GMT
Hi all,

Thanks to a contribution by Ted Husted, DBTags can now
read RowSets! Yay!

If you have a RowSet assigned to a Servlet attribute,
simply pass its name into the appropriate resultSet
tag attribute and, presto, you're reading the results
without need of either a statement or a connection
tag! Pretty neat, eh? See the docs for more details.

This is still preliminary, so let us know how it works
for you. In the near future, we'll probably add a
separate rowSet tag, so you can have access to the
addition properties of the scripting variable. This
will also potentially set the stage for new tags
written specifically for RowSets.

And in other news, DBTags should be going beta soon.
:)
