Subject Xml Document Structures Must Start and End Within the Same Entity - Error Message
Date Tue, 27 Sep 2011 16:15:42 GMT
Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post this error message I'm
getting but since it's one that I'm receiving since I upgraded from FOP 0.20.5
to FOP 1.0 I thought I'd start here.

When generating a PDF file using FOP 1.0 I'm getting the following error
messages.

1) 09:57:35,476  INFO rpc:56 - Setting fopBase = /medata/qa/SXML/
[Fatal Error] xml_med7_default_safewaynodtrecd.fo:2061:8: XML document
structures must start and end within the same entity.
file:///medata/qa/SXML/xml_med7_default_safewaynodtrecd.fo; Line #2061; Column
#8; org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: XML document structures must start and end
within the same entity.
09:57:35,658 FATAL rpc:100 -

2) ==> RPC-STD-qa.LOG <==
10:07:29,951  INFO rpc:56 - Setting fopBase = /medata/qa/SXML/
file:///medata/qa/SXML/xml_med7_pma.fo; Line #1741; Column #46; Non-whitespace
text is not allowed in this position in the stylesheet!
file:///medata/qa/SXML/xml_med7_pma.fo; Line #1742; Column #52; xsl:attribute
is not allowed in this position in the stylesheet!
[Fatal Error] xml_med7_pma.fo:1751:19: The element type "xsl:choose" must be
terminated by the matching end-tag "</xsl:choose>".
file:///medata/qa/SXML/xml_med7_pma.fo; Line #1751; Column #19;
org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The element type "xsl:choose" must be terminated
by the matching end-tag "</xsl:choose>".
10:07:30,121 FATAL rpc:100 -

My two .fo files work correctly in a Windows environment but have these issues
in a Linux environment. I checked the .fo file for the missing tag but could
not find any missing ones.

I googled the error message that's in the Subject of this post and found some
information regarding chunks of XML being dropped but nothing pertaining to the
FOP 1.0 version.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Rita
